Advocacy

We aid RAM’s policy efforts to expand rural healthcare access and volunteer protections at the state and federal levels to maximize RAM’s systemic impact.

State Legislation

We recently enlisted the support of several NC Senators to back a bill that we developed in conjunction with lobbyists at RAM and the Duke Office of State Relations. The legislation expands interstate volunteer protections to several additional classes of healthcare professionals and includes telehealth in the definition of interstate healthcare volunteerism.
